You’ll find us tucked away in Champniers, a small pretty village with its own bar and 12th century Romanesque church. Located in the south of Vienne, Champniers is the perfect base from which to explore the neighbouring departments of Charente and Deux-Sevres. We are part of the beautiful Nouvelle-Aquitaine region with all it has to offer.
Vienne is named after the river that meanders lazily through the lush green countryside.
Vienne is an active farming area with rolling fields full of cheerful yellow sunflowers, and is an ideal place for soaking up the pleasures of rural France. Known for its warm summers and mild winters, it is a popular holiday destination.

The Poitou-Charentes area of Western France was a region until 2015. Now part of the larger region known as Nouvelle Aquitaine it covers an area of over 84,000 km², the size of a country like Austria! It is the largest region in France with twelve departments in total.
